I have been pastor of Faith Baptist Church for 18 years. I came here the first Sunday in April of 2003. I have a great burden for families. I feel that families today are in danger of extinction if they are not taught the truths of God's Word. I feel that premarital counseling is a must for young couples. Couples should know what lies ahead and what each one expects of their mate in the future. It seems that is where their problems begin. I also feel the youth should be taught Godly morals of dating and they should know the kind of mate for which they should be searching.

I graduated from Fruitland Baptist Bible College with an Associates of Arts Degree in Religion/Church Ministry. I have a great burden for the spiritual condition of our churches, the integrity of the church members, especially the leaders of the church, and specifically the pastor. I believe the Bible to be the holy and inspired word of God and it should be taught in that manner (II Timothy 3:16). I have a lot of favorite verses, but the one I quote the most is John 14:6 which reads, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. It simply explains the only way a person can get to Heaven. "I love sharing this verse and I love to watch it change a person's heart.

My wife, Tammy and I have been married for 42 years  and have two married sons and five grandchildren with whom we love spending time.
